Hey guys, im swappin in a JDM H22A into my lude. all the wires are good, except the one that goes to the ECU. The P13 has 4 plugs, and my ECU harness only has the 3 for the P14. Will i need to get a new harness for it, are the wires there, or what? i know a lot of you guys have done this. Hope yall can help. thanks

 

4 plugs to the ECU? I think you may be mistakened, the P13 only uses 3 plugs to connect to the ECU, as with all Honda ECU's. Maybe we're talking about different things?

could i have possibly gotten the wrong ECU? Maybe for an Auto H22A?

 

you have an ECU with traction control system. The fourth plug is for controlling this device.

 

so i can still use this ECU? just dont have anything plugged into the 4th plug?

 

Of course, but you'll get a soft code 36.

yep... fyi the "soft" code won't lite the CEL. It will just appear when you check codes. This is what I've got and it hasn't been an issue for me.
