Default Apexi VAFC II Experiences?

I'm about to purchase the Apexi VAFC II for my Integra.

My current setup on my motor is basically bone stock but, I have a Type R transmission I recently installed. The reason for the purchase of the VAFC II is because I don't want to hit VTEC at 4400 RPM and I'm only going about 75 MPH. I need to save time on commutes and gas at the same time. Unfortunately it is my daily driver :\

My question is...do any of have the VAFCII and what are you experiences with it? Would anyone recommend a better VTEC controller unit for a decent price?

thats a lame reason to use a VAFC. if you bone stock then u shouldntt mess with it. waste of $$ and wont do u any good. dont expect to save gas with a ITR tranny, you'll be reving high in the highway either way

Why would you want to mess with the VTEC setting... ...Not a good idea bro, keep it stock...That's where it has it's best gains...I had a VAFCII when I had first done my LSV, but once I installed the HONDATA, I did away with it...Don't waste money if you have a stock DD..IMO! Work with what you have...
