I'm buy 01 itr cams soon and I was wondering how do I tell the differences from the 00-01 and below?? I don't want to get rip here. There was that one site that show the difference but it seems all the same to me any help would be great thanks. Also when installin the Itr cams do you have to adjust the valves?? Doh one more thing how do I tell if their still in great shape should I pay $400 for a pair of 01 itr cams that has 10k miles on them??? Seems high to me but good in price though or should I shop around for better with lower milleage and wears??? Do I just check the cam seals to find out if their still good shape??? Plzz help as you all know the search has been down. Thanks.

$400 not a bad price, the way to tell an 00-01 ITR cam is that on the distributer side, you have the large ring @ the end of the cam, to the left there is a small extension wich will have three smaller rings (kinda small almost like groves). hope that helps a little

 

Thanks yeah I see. The newer itr cams for the intake side has the 3 engraved rings as opposed to the older itr cams intake side don't thanks Is there anyway to check to see if the cams are in good condition??
