Went to the dealership..... they said the fit was in limited production so they could keep demand high...

What do you guys think???

 

I wouldn't call it very limited considering that 10k have been sold in the US since April.

however, Honda is not going to ramp up production to meet the US demand for them. So, whatever the target sales was for the first year here in US is all that will be sold. Probably 20-30k

 

i heard either 35 or 40k from car and driver.

 

well that's good to hear kinda.. I was worried the salesman was making up bullshit to try to sell it for a higher price.

 

He was trying to get you to purchase one sooner and without any discount.

He was!

Limited Production = A specific quantity will be made, no more, no less. This number is generally under 5000 (most cases today, its under 1000)

 

so it's not limited production it's just they are not pumpin out more for demand... just the year end production number is what it's gonna be
