ok guys i have a WHITE 97 ex coupe .. im going to get the side skirts painted, the rest of the vehicle is totally stock for right now .. im so up in the air about lips .. i would preferably like the lip painted to match the car, b/c i think it looks nicer on white cars

i like the mugen and the ctr a lot, the sir i also like, but sometimes i like it more than other times .. the type r is kind of not stock looking at all imo .. so anyway let me know what u guys think

I don't care how played out the mugen or the mugen replica is, It looks the best and is totally the best bang for the buck.

I love the '96spec CTR lip, but a cf mugen is nice too... I'd get both and alternate, CTR for daily, and cf mugen for weekend stuntin

Huh? The "type r" isn't a real lip unless you're getting a real 99-00 ctr/si lip and putting it on your 96-98. And the real mugen lip isn't on there, the "mugen" lip is on there but thats the 99-00 design. So the only real ones are the Sir and the 96-98 Ctr lips.

The Type R Style is fake and hideous and the Mugen style is a knockoff of a 99-00 Civic Mugen lip. The CTR or SiR lips are the only way to go...my vote went for CTR because I like how well it integrates with the front bumper's curves.

Hey dick, he was the one spouting off about them all being "real", I was correcting him. And finding out which one is real determines what that lip will look like since "mugen" almost always means 99-00 mugen and "type r" almost always means a fake 99-00 si lip, since he has a 96-98 that makes it confusing when he says they'll all be "real". Take your confrontational bullshit some place else.

 

alrite guys .. im still extremely torn on which lip ... there is a white civic on jdmcivic and it has the ctr lip painted white and the car looks amazing .. i really am unsure

its def between the ctr lip and the sir .. does anyone have any idea where i can buy a ctr lip .. and how much it would be .. and also r they polyurethane?

 

I saw that on the jdmshit page and after ordering one of there lips it looks badass I will try to get some pix up soon

 

The CTR lip is about $300. I'd go for the Si-R for sure. There's no better lip for the 96-98 front imo.

 

i guess i'll do the SiR .. but somone just made a post saying that the lip doesnt fit 100% perfectly, they said thers a space in the middle or something .. it was in the post that jdmshit has selling the lips
