H22A balance shaft removal
What all has to be done in order to remove the balance shaft assembly in an H22A? Im thinking of doin the kaizenspeed balance shaft eliminator kit but i want to know how labor intensive it will be and what has to be done to remove the balance shafts. I have to buy a new engine so it will be out of the car already if i choose to do this. Any info on this will help me alot. Thanks.
It's fairly easy to do. The actual balance shaft removal, adding plugs, & tapping a plug took less than an hour. The whole process taking around 2 hours.
You have to remove the girdle & press in a few plugs to block some oil passages, then tap a thread (tap is included) in the block itself for a plug. Remove that balance shafts & press plugs into those holes, the put it back together.

Because you showed how to remove them and that's all.
Try posting up the install of the elimination kit.
Search and read the faq... this has been covered tons of times with more in depth info.
