Default will b16b power fc work in jdm b18 itr?

just wondering if i put in a b16b(ctr) power fc will it fun my 96 jdm b18c itr engine. is pin layout the same or will i have to make a jumper hardness? if diagrams are available help me out. tanx.

its a obd2 b18c and the power fc is 98 ctr.

it will work as it is OBD2A (even OBD2B will work, but u need a conversion harmness), but u need to run B18C profile
the B16B profile is completely off for B18C
buy dataloggit or power FC pro, then you can swap/adjust profile on powerfc

tanx man. wot about pin layouts for both ecus. any ideas where ill get them? can i just download a map from the net for power fc?

u can just plug the power fc into the stock ecu harmness for obd2a or use conversion harmness for obd2b
for the map, if u buy dataloggit, it will come with the apexi B18C map which u can swap that profile into the B16B powerFC, that's what i am running on my car

wot kinda figures u get? im running at 206hp on standard ecu. would it add up to 10hp?

my car was 171whp on dyno dynamic but my car is almost stock execpt i/h/e
well, how much hp it will gain is depended on the tuning
