Swaps able to do in a EF 88 Civic 4dr?
some of the easier swaps would be the LT5 DOHC made by Lotus, The W12 out of a Phaton and the one everyone and their granny has the RB25DET.
Or you might try searching and or using the F.A.Qs we spend hours making.........

I have an 89 civic 4 dr that i just swapped in a jdm b16 dohc. any engine that can go into a civic hatch or a crx will fit into a 4dr. any d-series engines are a direct swap, you don't have to cut or weld anything just change some wiring. the b-series is the same as a d-series except that you have to pound the drivers side frame in a few inches for the altanator pulley to have room. then the f,h,and k-series engines are a lot harder to swap into an ef. chop, cut, reweld, run new lines rewire a lot.**** like that
