Default DRL Removal help 5 th gen

ok so basically my car is from Ohio, but since it came to CanaDuh, well it needed stupid *** DRL's
Im trying to get rid of mine, i pulled the fuse labbled DRL and they stayed on...

does anyone know, since these weren't plugged by honda, but prolly by some garage, how they would of plugged them? because there not using that fuse, or maybe there is a relay somewhere...i think its next to the steeering colum, do i just remove that?

yes there will be... you just gotta find it, trace the wiring coming from the bulb side harness. Once you run into a relay..

if yours are like my OEM 4gen ones then you may be able to follow from the p-brake switch. Mine only come on after the brake has been released the first time. if they are on when the car is on then I don't really know what to say. I guess you say its origionally from Ohio so I doubt this helps, but maybe the origional installer had some sence to use the OEM setup.

ya thats what im thinking the OEM setup, but i looked under the dash and god dam...i have no idea which one is the DRL relay can anyone help?

I know that on mine the p-brake switch won't always work, so i get a DRL light to indicate they are not on. Maybe you can just disable the switch and they won't turn on.

btw: I think the DRL on the 4th gen is kinda cool. I like to be different though.

Usually, US cars that come to Canada have a DRL Kit installed (can be purchased at canadian tire, autosource, or similar).

You can look in the store at the kits and their instructions. This will show you how to install them, and by the same token, how to remove them.
