DPFI to MPFI problems, running rich, RPMs jump up and down when you give it gas?
I'm having some problems, if you could offer some suggestions/help that would be great.
-It idles a little low,
-as you give it some gas it jump up and down real fast
-and it is running rich
-Codes 14(EACV) and 20(load detector) sometimes
we took to a shop they said it was the TPS, I replaced with a known good one calibrated and tested good a ECU.
Any ideas? Thanks

Have you done the troubleshooting outlined in the factory service manual for the codes you listed?

I've got the code 14 on my dpfi 89 civic. I've changed EACV with known good part, changed complete intake with all sensors, changed wiring harness, all with known good ones and always retain the code. Anyone????
First off, you reset the ecu after replacing the eacv, right? Sorry to ask, but it wouldn't be the first time.
Next, you did everything in the factory service manual troubleshooting steps? There's more to it than simply replacing the part that the code indicates.
