Help needed
I have been looking into getting a Honda for some time now and i am stuck. I really like the 94-01 integras. What makes you guys like your integras? What are the differences in the ls, gs,and gsr?
i love my DC because IMO look the baddest out of all honda's especially when its dumped with rims. cant go wrong with the 98 front end. try to get a GSR if u can. those comes with VTEC and has more HP then the non-vtec LS/GS/RS
I had no idea the gs didnt have V-tech,that suprises me, that just goes to show how much i dont know about them. If i do try and get one i will strive for a gsr. Is it hard to add V-tech?
GSR is your best bet. u can add VTEC to an LS/GS/RS if you get a VTEC head (b16, b18c) and other things but with your knowledge, i recommend sticking with the GSR. itll save you lots of headaches
I got my DC a couple years ago and mostly bought it for looks and because I thought it was highly tunable, with lots of aftermarket parts available. The kind of people who buy Integras seem to be more younger people who don't mind fixing/modding the car themselves. Not like say, a Buick, which I haven't seen swarms of people putting mods on lately. I can drive down in certain parts of Arlington in the dallas area and almost 100% of the time will meet up wiht someone who's got an Integra and is tuning it. Some parts are swappable wtih the civic and other hondas. I would say used parts for the LS/GS models are cheaper since they're not in as much demand...I'm referring to things like cylinder heads, new engine, tranny, etc, not things like belts.
