reverse lights stay on! wtf

Default reverse lights stay on! wtf

alright so once i start driving my car my reverse lights come on and stay on, so basically ill be going down the highway and my reverse lights are on....they stay on most of the time...what might be the problem....what shalll i check out

Remove your Reverse Light Switch.
It's right on top of the trans, just below and behind the distributor.

Turn your ignition on and press/release the plunger while someone else checks the reverse lights.

If it works as intended, add/remove a washer on the switch.
(In your case add a washer)

If the switch is not the problem, you've got a short somewhere.
