Default question about ASR kit and jdm itr sway bar...

I am now looking to get the ASR subframe reinforcement kit and a jdm 23mm ITR sway bar with bushing brackets for my 94 LS. I am going to do this because about trying to install my suspension techniques speedtech kit for an ITR on to my LS, I realized it didnt fit and wont fit so I'll just go with the JDM itr setup.... can anyone tell me where I can purchase the subframe reinforcement kit for a good price and if the JDM itr sway bar will even fit on my LS? I dont wanna go through the same things again

The sway bar will fit, you just need the kit. Password sells them or you can get them direct. You should also try the sponser marketplace and look around for a bit.

I got my type r sway bar from the acura stealership for 80 bones, plus the 73 dollar shipped beaks kit plus 5-10 dollars in honda hardware. I just have OE bushings, not the prothanes which are 20 shipped. So if you piece together the kit, you should come out cheaper than $235. I spent about $150.

You can get it alot cheaper then that. Also you know you still have to drill holes, right?

I still have to drill holes... why? jeeze... I thought people install ITR bars on LS's all the time and don't have to drill holes... where would I have to drill the holes?

I'm looking into getting the ITR bar next pay day or so myself. From what I've found so far, the ASR kit requires no drilling to install, but is a considerable amount more then the beaks kit, which requires some minor drilling. My friend who has the bar installed on his 94 civic used the beaks kit, and said the drilling was no big deal. The ASR is the better kit it seems, but also it looks like the sub frame tears a lot less in Integras then they do in say civics. I'm going with the beaks kit which is around $210 shipped I believe (maybe 20 more tops?). The ASR I think I saw go for $300+ but I'm not too sure on that. Good luck on whatever you decide, you could probably save $30-$75 by shopping through honda/beaks and getting the parts seperate.

I was planning on just getting the beaks kit for like $230 shipped, I dont mind paying that, and if the drilling isnt anything major then thats okay. Im pretty sure the ASR is better but after spending the money on the suspension techniques kit that didnt fit on my car, i'd rather just get something that'll work

Yea the beaks kit seems great. Like I said my friend has it on his civic, and it's tough, can't wait to get one on mine!

Drilling holes is the easy part. You can order the hardware from the acura dealership. here's a list of parts you need:
1.) 52300-ST7-Z01 rear swaybar (80 something)
2.) 52315-ST7-Z01 swaybar bushing ($4.40) (2 needed)
3.) 52308-SS0-000 bushing bracket ($5.95) (2 needed)
4.) 52316-ST7-Z00 endlink bushing ($1.75) (2 needed)
5.) 52312-ST7-Z00 endlink bushing collar ($4.90) (4 needed) –– this part can be reused from the stock swaybar
And then the beaks kit. If you're a cheap bastard you can also get the bsq kit instead of beaks. Same concept, but it is 20 shipped.
It is way cheaper if you piece everything together, not that hard and will save you 80+ dollars.
