Default Why does EVERY ANR header have to crack?!

Header was set up with flanges and everything to make it a bolt up piece, even have a flex pipe...

It's completely seperated from the flange at the head. I could grab on to the runner and pull it off by hand if I wanted, it's barely holding on at the collector

I hear you Brewer, I was in the same boat awhile back when mine cracked in the same spot, it sucks man, I got rid of it and have been really happy with new header ever since. I beat the hell out of the car it holds up great.

Yes. It's a knock off header. We had it on the wall at SportcarMotion, and after I got sick of the ANR cracking, we just threw it in to see how it would do. It works great, and after dyno'ing them back to back, I lost about 1hp peak, but picked up 7lbs of torque in the midrange, and power started climbing earlier, so it worked out better for what I use the car for.

Brewer:
I had mine rewelded a few times, but it still kept breaking, I also used a quality flexpipe as well.

Yea those welds are pretty rough. I'm guessing 50% penetration if that. Yikes, hope they offer a warranty, haha!

Damn Brew, didn't know you got an ANR. Tough luck, might as well scrap it and get something else.

You have a lot of weight hanging there. It is totally depending on the head flange for support.

Sux, but it does happen with these headers. See if Walker can weld it up for you. He said he wasn't that busy now.
