I need a new starter for my b16 CRX, and after searching, it appears that the consensus is that a 90-91 integra starter will work. However, after going to several local autoparts stores, it appears that the shaft on the starter is shorter on the integra starters than on my b16 starter. Every employee that I spoke with said that they are not compatible (because of the differing shaft length). Will a integra starter still work anyway, regardless of shaft length? HELP PLEASE!!

Yes it will work. I've been using an Integra starter on my B16 for 6 years now, no issues.
