Anybody driven the new track at Reno Fernley?
The new technical course is up, and I'm thinking about driving it.

If you've attacked this course, tell me all about it! TEAM Racing has a package deal, 3 days for $500. Two days at Reno-Fernley and one day at Thunderhill.

We just ran there last weekend for the NASA norcal HC race. It was really fun, but the track temp was extremely high that weekend. It was 105 ambient, 136 in the car. We should have videos of our race by mid-week. For reference, we were doing 1:29 flat by the end of the weekend. It was really fun to learn a new track. The esses were flat out and quite exciting.

Well, I just got back from a weekend at this track. It was AWESOME! It's 4.1 miles and the technical section is even more technical than it looks on the map. It goes over lots of hills that make the turns off-camber and/or blind - and I mean a majority of the turns. Sometimes you can't even see the entrance to a turn until after you have to set up for it. It's got a long learning curve and it's a little frustrating at first, but it's extremely fun once you memorize it and learn to nail it.
