Default GS-R

I was wondering about if it really makes a difference if I put regular unleaded or premium unleaded in my car. I have put premium in it ever since I got it. Thanks

Naw they just put it on there so people who own GS-R's feel like they are better then everyone else.

Yes it makes a difference it wouldnt say "ONLY" if it didn't.

Yes, look at your gauge cluster, it says "premium unleaded fuel only" therefore do what it says. Besides look at it like this. for every 10 gallons it's only an extra $2. Not really that bad.

it's only a couple bucks extra per tank... do what the engineers say and put premium... it's high compression remember??

went to a chevron once and 92 octane was all out. i still needed gas cuz i was on empty. i was freaking out when i put 89 octane wondering if my motor was gonna blow or whatever. then on the same tank of gas went out on a cruise and still kicked everyones asses! to me it shouldn't make a difference. but on the other hand, if you can afford a gsr then you should know that it deserves only the best.

first time filling up my integra after switching from the crx... i was so used to pushing the 87 button that i didnt realize what i was doing til i was 6 gallons in.. i said expletive it and filled up. car ran fine.. i wasnt mashing it everywhere but it did the job.. like most of the people are saying.

you can get away with it.. but why do it unless you really have to? skip lunch for a day and thats like 2 weeks of getting premium

If you run the wrong fuel ratings (87, 89) you will get less mileage so in turn you ar not actually saving money

How is it a stupid comment? It says on the gauge cluster, "premuim unleaded fuel only" Hence the word ONLY So do what is intended for your car and spend the extra $2. It's not that much damn money.

Your a dumbass. I'm sorry you don't know if it expletives up cars when you put the wrong type of fuel in when the gauge says ONLY.

Put 2 and 2 together, you've been here 2 weeks and your already talking **** to people who are helping you? Jesus e-thugs.

Make sure you edit your post now, because you look like a dumbass still.

lol Yea, you were really trying to help me. I have been on here two weeks and I love to see smart *** people leave comments just to down the person posting. I wish people like you would get a life. If you scroll up you will see people who actually left comments that had meaning and helped me. Yours just made me laugh. You took time out of your day to get on this and post that helpless comment, just to make yourself look good. Wow. lol

Oh and by the way I took out a sentence so dumbass people like you could understand it better.

Get a life? Jesus i posted twice and you posted like 30 times, and my post did help, if you would have taken it for what its worth, being a smart *** and answering your stupid question at the same time doesn't mean i didn't give you a valid answer. Your just too stubborn to take it for what it is.

Even SlammedDC2 saw that i did answer your question, your just being all pissy because you couldn't read your own gauge cluster.

I tell people the same thing... but some people would rather save the 2 bones and throw in cheap gas. I still put in premium when gas was crazy expensive. Engine cant run without gas, so why not use the best you can get right?
