what speakers does this amp conection go to... using stock HU to run amp
Ok so I have an audiobahn amp model is the A8000T. Anyway I sold my alpine head unit so that the inside looks stock (will keep thieves away) and am now using my stock player from my 02 si.
So the amp came with this plug when i bought it but i never used it because my cd player had out-puts.

So I want to wire this thing and I see in the book it says how to wire it (refer to the picture below)

Now if u cant read that it reads top to bottom....L+ L- CHASSIS GND R- R+
So ok im looking at this thing and which set of speakers do I use? The rear or the front and does it matter?
I am also assuming that the white wire is the L+ green is L- Black is ground and brown is R- and grey is R+
I just want to make sure I do this correctly and I have never wired an amp with out the rca wires.
ALSO what do I use for the remote wire? Do I just have to make a switch to run it off of?

your amp has a built in high to low converter. Going that you are going to be puting that amp to your subs, match the neg toghter and the pos toghter and tag it to one of your rear speaker terminals. If it going to be used as a rear or front fill tag them to the left and right speaker terminals. Then run the speaker out put to the speakers that you are going to amp.
so just run the positive and negative to the left and one set to the right?
Front or rear outputs does not matter.
Your color descriptions with + and - look correct.\
For your remote, you could use the accessory free pin on the fuesbox, or tag the switched 12v wire going to the deck.
That ground on the speaker level plug concerns me though. I've never seen a plug with more then 4 wires in it. I'd be afraid of introducing noise into the system with another ground, so if I were hooking this up, I would try it without hooking that up. If it worked and sounded okay, I would depin that wire and toss it.

I was also curious about the ground and was wondering why it would be needed. Does anyone else know if it is needed or can I just not use it like he stated above?

What B18C_EJ8 said. Hook it up without the ground. Then touch the ground wire to the chassis and see if it makes any difference in the sound. If it makes no difference or it sounds worse, disconnect that wire.
