Default Full Exhaust - What to choose?

Hey guys, I have come to the conclusion that I'm going to buy full exhaust from the header. I'm not sure what exactly I should get but I do plan picking from three different companies, one being Greddy, the 2nd being Magnaflow, and the third being A'Pexi/and or Tanabe. What would you guys choose out of all these full exhaust systems, taking the sound, quality, and price factor in? I don't want to spend anymore than $550 with shipping included. What do you guys think I should do? Additionally, do you guys suggest any sites that I should order my exhaust from in terms of shipping/price of it and availability wise also?

Thanks

It depends on how loud of an exhaust your looking for. I have the Apex'i WS2 and I love it. Nice and quiet, but yet roars at WOT. Has the OEM look with a larger outlet. I can post up a sound clip of the exhaust if you want.

I don't care about how loud it is, as long as it's legal...is it? Additionally, did you notice any different when you added your header and the exhaust? How much was it?

Appreciate the fast post. thumbs up

Does Apexi offer a full exhaust system and not just cat back?

I think all the exhausts are legal. I think HKS is one of the few companies that makes exhausts that exceed the 95db limit here in Cali, not sure about NJ.

I only have the cat-back and an intake. I was planning on getting headers, but opted to sell my car instead. I noticed some power gains all throughout my power band. Feels way better then stock for sure. Makes the daily commute more enjoyable. The exhaust was $425, I picked it up from a local import shop.

For example, would this be all I need to replace my WHOLE exhaust system, nothing other than the header to complete the system or what - http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/prod/10156702 ?

I don't think they offer a full exhaust system. I think you are going to have to get DC headers and a test pipe/hi-flow cat or leave your stock cat. I don't think that Greddy offers a full exhaust system, only cat back. For our models, 6th gen, Greddy does not offer headers. I don't think magnaflow does either. You are going to have to buy two separate pieces, maybe three if you want a test pipe/hi-flow cat.

No that is the Cat-back only. Headers are about $300 for a DC Sports header.

You might want to check this place out.

Thats it... All you need are a cat-back and headers. If you want you can buy a hi-flow cat or test pipe to replace your stock cat.

It goes Headers > Cat > Cat-back Exhaust

Not in the case of the cat. Do you have a turbo or supercharger? No? Then you dont want to mess with it

youtube.com has a lot of exhaust clips. do a search by name of exhaust.

getting a header is a waste of money IMO. just go with the catback

have any of you heard about Invidia exhaust systems? If so, what's your impression of this company? I found a cat-back system by them, stainless steel, for $430...

Well I'm thinking about the invidia system since it's so cheap, I guarantee if I were to get it custom fabbed at like meineke it would be close to $350-400 anyways. If you guys had a choice would you choice the greddy evo2, individa, or the tanabe system?
