I have a JDM 'small case' p30 ecu. I've been reading that these ECU's can be chipped the same way as a p28 and most USDM obd1 ecu's.
I've been reading up on the PGMFI.ORG site for chipping the jdm p30 here:
http://www.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin...DMP30
for some odd reason my ecu has capacitors on J1, C49, C50, C91, and C92 already. like it was there factory.
also the "74hc373" chip near where the 28 pin ROM goes is there.
Would I just need to de-solder the 28-pin ROM and replace it with a socket and a 29C256 EPROM with a bin?
Please help guys!
ECU # is 37820-P30-010
