sounds like starter...either try knockin the starter while someone tries to start it...or replace...sometimes the starter weight will get stuck an just needs a couple hard knocks with a rubber mallet

Did you make sure to plug everything back in after you did the starter?
Make sure you connected the 12v cable from the battery and also the starter
signal wire?
I always like to bench test the starter b4 installing it.

Why dont you check your clutch pedal you have a starter interrupt maybe the pedal is not pushing the switch down or the switch is bad check your starter relays and starter fuse.

battery

just because your lights turn on dosent mean its got enough juice to turn the starter.

take the battery to vatozone, have them test it.

its the clutch switch, you actually have two of them, either the top one went bad or the little "plastic pin" that pushes it popped out of the assembly.

i just hotwired my starter (MAKE SURE CAR IS IN NEUTRAL W/ PARKING BRAKE ON). basically hook 12v from the battery to the starter signal wire (small one wire connector on the starter), if you do it with the key in the on position it should crank fine, w/ the key off it will turn over, but shouldnt fire up.

yes, hook a wire directly from the battery positive termainal or any other 12v+ source, and touch the small male spade terminal on the starter.

You should have three wires on your starter solenoid, one is power straight from the battery, the small one is the signal from the ignition, and the other should go in the starter motor. Just take a jumper wire and go from the positive post of the battery to ignition signal wire on the starter solenoid.
