so far, i have cam gears and ITR cam shafts with a CAI on my 01 gsR. would you guys recommend i get the DC or ITR headers?

which dc are refering? jdm dc 4-1 or the usdm dc?

The DC headers are a copy of the JDM ITR 4-1 headers and don't make any more power. I would either spend an extra $200 and get a Rage/ Hytech/ SMSP header or spend $200 less and get a Megan Racing header, which makes just as much power as the DC unit.

 

diffrences between the itr header and a megan header will be neglectable, specially on a but-dyno....the only reason im going to recommend the ITR header is because it has a heatshield

from my research i found that the megan's are around $200, DC around $300, and ITR around $400.

I cant believe no one said this yet, well I'll be 'that *******' that always posts this in threads about headers: just dont get a header at all, buy a turbo kit!
