Yes, i have searched on this topic but have not really came up with any definite answer.

I have read in many threads that you cannot fit in a JDM OEM HID headlight because of the older/larger ABS unit. I have also read that since 98+, all integras came with the smaller ABS unit which will clear the OEM ballasts. I have a 97R but from looking at the pics on this site, it seems that my car already has the smaller ABS unit. My question is for any 97 owners who has converted to JDM OEM HID, will the ABS unit clear the ballast?

yes. the 97R has the equivalent of the 98-01 Integra ABS (smaller unit, does not have a separate fluid reservoir like 94-97 "old" style). a jdm front end with OEM HID headlights will bolt right up to your car, and you will have no interference with the ABS equipment.

yup...thats it.



97 with a 98JDM front with HID...clears fine
