Is there any GSR tranny that comes stock with an lsd?

 

im 98% sure your answer is no

 

i thought so, but i thougt i remembered soething about some JDm one having it stock, but i guess its just the itr's

 

there was a D series DA that came stock with an all wheel drive tranny

 

some of the jdm gsr trans came with them i believe. mine unfortunately didn't.

 

yes some jdm gsr's had lsd it was prob an option.

 

No. However, the ITR LSD is a direct fit.

 

US GSR are non-LSD.

JDM SiR/SiG has optional LSD.

It will be stamped on the tranny.

No. GSRs never came with an LSD. A similar transmission is available for the JDM SiRs with the same ratios and an optional LSD, but that is an Integra SiR, not a GSR. It is 100% compatible, but it is not stock for the USDM car.

the LSD was optional in Japan on the equivilent car to the GSR. It wasn't called a GSR in japan, but it might as well be. So yes, you can get a JDM "GSR" tranny with LSD.

I fully understand that the cars are similar. I am trying to avoid the confusion where some would claim that the USDM GSR did have an LSD.

It is the same P/N as the ITR LSD. I have a CTR LSD in my GSR. Heck, I even used the 4.40 ring gear that came with it. Fortunately, the Japanese think that Civic parts are cheaper than Integra parts.
