I was wondering if there is a trick to getting the intake manifold bracket off. Im having real trouble trying to get it off. hard to reach but even harder to try to get off.

well it says noob because that is the avatar that it automatically assigns to you. You have to change the avatar yourself to whatever floats your boat. Sorry, but i can't help you with your other problem.

 

Just get under the car and remove the 2 lower bolts holding the bracket to the block then you can lift the head with the intake mani.
