Default Pulleys

Have anyone installed Unorthodox Ultra SS pulleys on their lude. If so what kinda gains did you see, if any.

The crank pulley is the one that makes the noticeable difference

the other two will still help though... lighter rotating mass is always good

Lighter underdrive pulleys will produce a small percentage in gains, but if you REALLY want to get somewhere reducing parasitic drag, then take out your AC, power steering and balance shafts combined with a UR crank and alt pulley.

...and ignore the people who are about to post about how a UR crank pulley will destroy your engine, it messes up harmonics, blah blah blah bullsh!t.

Im not into sweating my ***** off, so I will leave the AC where it is, in the car.

I run a UR pulley and have had no problems with it.

Out of curiosity, why do most Drag cars and high HP applications use a fluiddamper or ATI dampner? Must be something to it.

Well, IMO with really high HP production, factors like engine harmonics increase exponentially....so it gives them the security to not worry about it plus the rotating assembly doesn't take as bad of a beating with a damper. Of course if you're talking about a V8 or something they have to have a damper no matter what because they're not internally balanced...
