Well, I'm not sure for you, but for me, I launched at 3k
and I left the miata in the dust.
Good luck on your little race.

i'll give 3k a try...but after launch..you just floor it rite??? also ...should i release the gas alll the way to shift??!!! Kuz i used to drive some corolla where i had to even out the gas n clutch, and letting some gas in the engine while shifting.....and with the civic, the engine revs...

Well, I released the gas when I shift, if you don't,
you might as well power shift, but our car is new so
I wouldn't try power shifting unless your clutch is
upgraded.

PS. I'll bring my car to the track, miata was just
practice
