Okay, fun new issue here. Awhile back my Civic started making a bit of an odd noise during idle. The noise is something like air being sucked in very fast. The noise came out of the AEM CAI, but after pulling it off the TB it turns out it's coming from the lower hole where the FITV lets in air.

Ok so I'm thinking bad FITV, replaced that and the IACV with OEM Honda Parts, still have the same noise. Happens during initial startup, and also during normal operating temp.

Thoughts?

 

TRY A NEW THROTTLE BODY... WELL A DIFFERENT ONE... IF OYU CAN GET YOUR HANDS ON ONE... SEE IF THE PROBLEM STILL HAPPENS...

change check your gaskets in that area,
I just had a very similar prob, new tb gasket fixed it

verry good advise

check the vaccum lines for punctures or rips aswell
