exhaust gas smell noticable upon warm-up 99k mi

as the title states I had noticed a smell of unburnt fuel my mods are simple

99,XXX miles on stock engine
AEM sri
2.75" exhaust bottle necked down to 2.5"
NGK wires

everything else is stock

what could this be?

and how can I check/ fix this without wasteing money at the stealership

then you most likely have an exhaust leak...take it to a local peferably private muffler shop and see if thats the case

sorry but I only notice this at the end of the tail pipe

it smells of unburnt fuel pretty strongly (excessively)

oh yeah I can fix it myself once the problem is diagnosed

you may have a misfire, check your plugs cap, wires, and the rotor. if any are messed up replace them with NGK or Honda parts.

Do this

SOS analysis on your oil to see if it has excessive amts of fuel

fuel system pressure test to see if it is holding pressure.

It almost sounds like you have a leaky injector
