Default **FS** * NEW PRICE** 1995 EG DX Clean Title B18C1 swap, B16A transmission, A/C

NEW PRICE 3500 firm!
Working A/C, power steering, registration expired, not smogged

Okay, my friend was going to try to buy this car, but now that the official word's in that he can't get the cash, I've been given the okay to post this ad.

This is not my car, but I'm handling the sale of it because my friend isn't the internet type, so I'm dealing with the BS for him.

Car: 1995 Civic DX hatchback, 5 speed, clean title, teal green with I believe 1996 Acura GSR rims (Not fat 5's, those wierd ones, I think snowflakes?) painted black. Tires have roughly 75-85% tread all around.

Car's swap is fresh, originally came out of his previous car, a Del Sol SI. He sold the SI because he didn't like Del Sols, but when he bought the 95 DX he dropped an LS engine into it. The GSR swap was wrapped up and kept in his cold garage for about a month. The LS engine had bad compression and eventually blew the block, so he dropped the GSR in last week. The compression on it is okay, the longblock has about 79,000 miles on it. The transmission on it doesn't have more than 19,000 miles on it. He barely got it a few months ago and it has papers. It had the mileage marked on it at 15,000. It's from a 2000 Civic SI.

The engine is a 1999 B18C1 converted to OBD1 with integra Type R cams, AEM cut ram air intake, OBX header and stock exhaust. He's running a chipped P28 with 9000 rpm redline, 4800 rpm VTEC engagement point and a 4500 RPM launch control. The interior is stock with stock backseats with the exception of I believe an EJ1 cluster or EG SI cluster (MPH instead of KM but has an RPM tachometer). Also has an ACT Stage 2 Clutch kit and a short shifter.

The car has working A/C, a must have in So-cal.

The chassis has 120k miles on it but clean title and the engine has 80k miles and the tranny has roughly 20k miles.

The car is mint. His reason for selling it is because he recently bought a truck, and he'd like to sell his Civic so he can lift his truck and buy a Quad.

EDIT: To add more info
He hasn't driven the car hard, you're more than welcome to bring a compression/leak down kit and check for yourself. The motor hasn't been ran on a track/race ever since the Type R cams have been installed and the new transmission and drop into the DX. He was racing with the LS engine before dropping the GSR engine, so believe me the engine is mint.

EDIT: More pictures

INTERIOR SHOTS

Rear Strut Bar

Del Sol Rims + Good tread tires

It has a rough idle because of the untuned chip so sometimes if you're at a light it will turn off on you.

Asking price: NEW UPDATED PRICE- $3500 firm takes it. Drastic lowballers will be ignored and blackballed. He is NOT willing to trade so please don't post links to your car.
No dreamers, lowballers, promisers. Car will not be held unless a 2200 deposit is left up front. I don't care if you promise to buy it tomorrow, if someone shows up with cash tonight, it's gone.

I will have pictures up soon but they're not the best pics in the world, they just give you a rough idea of what it looks like.

Car is located in Imperial Valley (Brawley, Ca)

Btw, a few people are entertaining a non vtec price, so if you're considering this car, make an offer soon or the swap might be pulled out

Bump again, better pics are coming up soon along with more info, but don't complain if it's hard to get a good price because other people will bite when that happens.

Bump again, I tested the car out today and it pulls very hard.

I don't know why it's sold yet either but it seems like no matter how low he sets the price some ****** jackass offers 500 less.

Price is 3500 100% firm, not budging unless it's to go higher.

I also won't be putting up newer pics. If you have cash you can come see what it looks like.

Car is still for sale.

3500 takes it home guys, and he bought the new tags.

You just have to know someone who can smog it for you and you have a CLEAN TITLE EG WITH GSR SWAP, A/C, POWER STEERING AND TYPE R CAMS AND FULL BOLT ONS. Tires have 90% tread on them, I checked today.

Seriously a deal like this and everyone's flaking?

He's willing to drive halfway to anyone in SD or LA area.

It still hasn't been sold. He'll take 3200 firm.

He REALLY needs to sell this car.
