gsr ftw.

now all the ls-vtec ravers are gonna come in and argue, oh the ls crank and ls blah blah blah. fact is even IF the ls-vtec makes more power (if) nothing is going to be as reliable as a stock engine from honda.

right i agree with that i have a daily driver and i just want to build something quick and ive alway been kinda intrigued about ls vtec and why people did it, i have two friends with ls vtec one is in a dc2 another is in a eg hb and they are both strong and both kill gsr's

more torque.

it will be easier to just swap in a b18c though

If you do the work yourself an ls vtec is defintetly the way to go
much cheaper than a Full GSR swap.....although in my EG I used the B18c1 from my wrecked 4-door GSR but if it was me puttign a motor in another eg....I definetly go for the B20vtec swap

but....ywah it's all based on personaly preferance, funds, time blah blah blah whatever works for you dood good luck

Wouldn't the LS/Vtec be more expensive too? Having to tap the oil line and by a Vtec head and all that?

stock build ls vtec or stock gsr. or fully built ls vtec or fully built gsr. if fully built and built right then it would be the same,id go with the LS vtec. but if stock then just swap in the gsr. i put together a stock ls vtec in a 96 integra with a stock b16 head and blox manifold and its faster than a stock gsr

ls blocks are also a dime a dozen and you can get vtec heads for pretty cheap..anywhere from 350-600 bucks..........**** I saw a RLZ port and polished head for 500 bucks on egay a week ago!!! and you can find ls blocks with spun bearings for dirt...resleeve, pistons, cams, blah blah blah BAM!!! done deal but this is all personal preferance..but that's what me and most people would do

GSR = reliable power

LS/VTEC = power, but not as reliable
