Will A OBD2 ECU work on a OBD1 motor?
i have a 96 honda accord (OBD2) and a 93 JDM h22a motor inside and i was woundering if i can use an accord or prelude OBD2 ECU?would i have to change the Dist and injectors? to obd2?
if the car is obd2 then yes, it will technically fit.
but you'll definitely throw some codes because the obd I motor doesn't have a few components that the obd2 ecu will be looking for.
so will it work? yes
will it work well? no

You would need an oil pump from an obd2 prelude (has the Cyl position sensor in it) and 97+ distributor and 97+ injectors then the motor should function as a obd2 motor should. There might be more stuff check the FAQ they have a sticky on how to do it.
