Default no brake lights for some reason?

so my friend was bangin gears in his crx when all of a sudden we noticed his brake lights do not work he has running lights but no brake lights. We have checked the switch and switched it out for another and still nothing. All bulbs have been replaced and checked and still nada zip. any info on what could be wrong would help alot. I myself think the switch is getting no power for some reason or another. Thanks

does your horn still work? it could be a blown fuse. check the fuse box under your dash. i wonder if maybe you have a bad ground or an open wire somewhere.

so the horn fuse and the brake fuse are the same fuse? i cant check the horn, it got in the way of the charge pipes and i havnt gotten around to putting it back in. maybe the loose ends of the horn wires are touching? would that cause the brake lights not to work?

woooo hoooo, i win. check your wiring to make sure there isnt an open wire rubbing against the charge pipes or anything else.
