alternator

Is it worth it to rebuild a bad alternator? I can get a rebuild for $100

yep, the one on my car is starting to take a poo on me.

so far its 150 for autozone lifetime warranty
and 135 for advanced auto, unknown warranty

That's a ripoff, find a special starter/alternator place in your area,
they should be able to put new brushes/rebuild it for around $40-50
