I called injen this afternoon and they said their cold air intake for the 06' Si was released yesterday. It is not on their website yet since it just came out, but is available. He said the gain was 10-12 whp and 8-10wtq. They said only the polished is available, and that the black will be out soon.They said if you want to purchase it to call a shop off their site and to let them know its out. Finally, a good CAI is out!

AEM and Fujita make a good CAI, its all personal preferance i guess.

They have any Dyno runs available? How does it compare with AEM?

I have an appointment with Dynospot next week. They are going to Dyno my car stock, then install a CAI and GReddy EVO2 and Dyno it again.

I am supplying the EVO2, but I left the CAI choice to them. If one performance better then another, it would be nice to tell them my preference.

After the two Dyno runs I am hoping to be able to determine if a Reflash is going to be worth the $600 bucks plus labor.

Exactly, hence the reason i've waited for Injen to finish theirs. I could have just thrown an AEM or Fujita on, but instead did my research with past cars dynos and on the Si. I ordered mine from showstoppersusa.com...great customer service and excellent price. I called autoanything b/c they seemed to have awesome prices on everything and they told me $350+shipping. showstoppersusa gave it to me for $229 shipped. Autoanything told me they could not beat that, and that showstoppers was only actually making like a $10 profit. to showstoppers

I just dyno a Fujita with Hondata IMG and gave me 17whp I have the dyno but I don't know how to post it. Any help will be apreciate.

Hondata IMG + intake = NOT just intake.. which is what this post is talking about

Aem shows that their largest gain was 7.3whp. I spoke with Injen and they have a max gain of 10.72whp & 11.22wtq. Thats quite a difference if you ask me, especially considering your paying the same price as the other products. Injen may not have had their intake out first, but they do however have a better product IMO. Its a much more researched and developed intake. Hence the reason I waited for their product and didnt just buy the fist thing out.

This is awesome. i have been waiting for the injen CAI to come out for so long. i checked it at least once a day and tried calling. but am glad to hear that it is finally out.

If anyone knows one dealer that can give the best deal or free shipping post back.

This is actually the SP division. Not sure what it means, but thats what they told me when i asked if it was going to be RS or RD a while back.

hmm..really?...is this the best intake that injen will release for the si you think?

 

Probably...I dont think they will release any other ones. I mean how much better does it get then 11whp and 12wtq? ... you know?
