1993 Accord EX manual tranny questions/sources
My friend's 1993 Accord EX 5 speed is losing/has lost 2nd gear syncro (I think). It refuses 2nd gear after getting up to speed for the first time in the day. I'm looking into a used tranny for about $350-$400, then about $250 for installation and then the clutch kit and stuff. Anyone know of good source for a remanufactured tranny with a warranty or something better than a used one with a 30 day parts only warranty? And budget oriented too...Thanks!!!

hmm... is $1000 for a factory rebuilt one? or the cost of rebuilding a current tranny? I'm in the same situation, 5th gear is grinding. 
Thinking of going w/ a h23a tranny thou... but would love to find a factory rebuilt one under a grand. =\
