auto to manual swap
umm i was wondering, i really want to get an eg hatch back, and i found one but its automatic, how much would it be to swap the transmission to manual? like wut kinda stuff would i need or wut things do i need to take into consideration? thanks for the help
just wait and look for one thats already manual. its not worth it to convert. youre looking at a new transmission, new center console, new gauge cluster, shift linkage. just not worth it as all. wait till theres one in your area thats manual, it'll cost you so much less in the end. it'll also save you time and a headache
the swap costed me about $600-$800 considering that I did it myself and with a help of a friend. You're going to need alot of parts, is this an eg civic?
here's a helpful thread which i used

you have no clue do you......?
if you dont have the car already just keep looking
it is "WORTH IT" if you have the car and can source parts cheaply.
BTW you dont need a new center console the shifyt boot will fit right into auto console like factory. mounts in exactly the same
