Never did like a cop
It's 10:27pm cali time, just got home from a friend's house about 4 miles from here.
At 8:24pm, Got pulled over by a Sacramento Police who cited me for not having a license on the front of the bumper.
My reason: I never did have the front license plate on since I bought the integra because the holder that's holding the bolts feel off.
8:28 pm, Cited me another ticket for having Luminics Hyper Blue headlights.
He said those aren't street legal. I didn't argue with him cause I have no proof that it is or not.
8:35 pm, Ask me to get out the car, while he check how low my ride is.
Wrote me a ticket for having a lowered car.
I asked him how low do you think my car is..
I did not get a response, he just shook his head and handed me the ticket and it says " lowered vehicle "
So all in one day, I got 3 fix it tickets.
To my suprise he didn't check my hood or anything else.
Just a heads up, Sac Cops are fucked up so just watch out. I live in Elk Grove, I think they're hating.

i got pulled over for loud exhaust and had my hood popped when i was down at LA...
he was cool tho...i didnt mind since my parts are all legit and carb legal...
my integra was however slammed to the ground and the officer said that my car looked good low...
after he looked underneath my hood, he said it was clean..
the cop was the ****!
no ticket, no nothing

To the OP, so your pissed that you broke the law and the cop did his job? Damn cops these days. I just think it's funny that you will bitch that he did his job here. However when something (God forbid) happens later on down the road ie stolen car, break in, vandalism, whatever. I'll bet money you are calling the cops to come get the person who did it.
BTW this should be in GDD

In Cali, isn't the rule like 18" from the ground to the center of the headlight?
I know in MA, the rule is 2 inches from the stock vehicle height, which leaves it pretty much to the officer's discretion.
Although Cali seems to have it rough, atleast you have some additional laws that protect the citizen. For example, if a cop thinks your car is too loud, you can goto an inspection station and have your exhaust read with a decibel meter, and also the rule above which is pretty much cut & dry.
I recently saw on TV (don't remember what state or country - probably USA or Canada), that stated that if you're caught racing, they impound your vehicle and crush it now.
Yes, some cops are dicks, but some of them are very lazy and in a bad mood, so you can probably appeal those tickets, prove your case as best you can atleast get 1 or 2 of those violations taken off. Good luck man, looks like you caught that cop on a bad day.

Yup, you wouldn't want those cops to keep people from driving like ******** and running into people or running people off the road killing you would you?
Maybe it takes haveing a child, someone you care about and would do anything for to make you grow up some.

I was driving around in Elk Grove and it's the Elk Grove Sheriffs that are the a--holes. I made a full stop, turned off to the main streets and I see this sheriff in my rearview mirror follow me closely running my plates and checking my tags. As soon as it looks good to him, he just speeds off past me. He can't get me for anything else as everything on my car is CARB legal and I'm only lowered 1".

At least they are all fix it tickets. And I think the law for lowered vehicles is no part can be lower then 6" from the ground. When I got a ticket I took it to the CHP to be inspected and they had like a roller with a tip that was 6" from the ground and he rolled it underneath to make sure nothing touched. That was like 6 years ago though so I don't know if the rules have changed.
this happened about an hour ago
i was parked in the sidewalk with no license plate in the front, car lowered, exhaust, and expired tags...in front of a shop with eg's with boosted type r b18c
and this motorcycle cop (which we all new, ha all he all new us)went up the sidewalk and stud in front of me and looks at my car, so i smiled and giggled a little and i got in my car and i parked it in the curb (oh and he saw my H.I.D's), and to my surprise!!, he just sped away, everyone was like "dude, your the luckiest person, cuz Tin Man (the cop) didn't care"
haha yeah lets make this a citation thread

Well, I am in Bergen county NJ..one night In my town around 2:30am coming home i stopped at a light and see two cop cars side by side and the cops are talking. So i make a left and go down a main street in second, low rumble from the evo2...They pull me over and said i stopped on the cross walk..I said i didnt..Anyways i got a muffler ticket..I turned to my friend and said, "i hope it doesnt take that long next time i get pulled over" (they took 30 mins to write it) the cop asked what i said, i told him i was talking to my friend, then i told him what i said..he took my papers back. He sat for another 30mins...called a 3rd officer, to ask for help on what i to write i guess...i overheard a bit saying "can i do this or..." after he wrote the tickets, they were talking for like 10-15mins...my friend fell asleep.
so, gave me odstruction of view for my radar(ok its a bit high from the dash) and FAILURE TO STOP A THE LIGHT!!!!(WOW, i did stop) WHen i did F"ing stop and he knows it. ....when he gave me the ticker he couldnt even say it with confidence about that and he wouldnt look at me or answer me what light i didnt stop at..he just walked away. I asked him what happened to the Crosswalk ticket?..well, this cop doesnt like me...the partner he was with pulled me over once and i was kinda pissed and told them off a bit. Anyways i am going to court with my lawyer on this one.

Sounds like a Republican 2 me ; ) Any who, I enforce the law in Cali. Plain and simple, your front lip cant be lower than the bottom portion of your rim. Dont loose your cool and you'll be fine. Wont work in small towns where cops dont have **** to do though.

I went to work and told my co-worker about it and he told me all those tickets are fixable. So he insist me to start off by ditching those luminics lightbulbs.
With the front bumper, he mentioned going to home depot and get a nut and ghetto rigging the license plate on.. as long as it stays there.
For the lowering of the car, I think CA's laws is no car under 6'' off the ground.
So that's easily fix but adjusting the suspension.
After doing all those, Would it be possible to fight it with the court and actually win?
I think that cop was just pissed off or had a bad day and decides to pick on me.
Elk Grove cops are worst that's true.
They're racist like the UCDAVIS cops that's undergoing inspection by the city of davis... HAHA Cracks me up.
