how do i get rid of the rear bumper gap?? the SAG
i own a 95 acura integra rs and recently, my rear bumper is now sagging due to an incident at work.. went off the padrack and the rear lip caught onto something and stretched my bumper out and ripped off a ziptie.. zip tied it back on, but now i see a little gap where the bumper meets the other piece..
heres a pic.. sorry u cant really see the gap but up close u can see b/c the right side u dont see it..

i tried taking of bumper and lookin at the bar that goes across.. dunno how to adjust it if u even can..

Have you tried using the correct mounting hardware? Zipties usually work just fine to hold a bumper on, but when it comes to aligning it and securing it they are useless

I have this same problem, my 98 spec bumper sags baaad on one side and I think its due to a prevous accident. Im going to pull the bumper and support off and try bending the support with a slight upward angle to put pressure on the bumper, hopefully that will work.

i dont think ziptie or not would affect the WHOLE line..its not juss one little area, its the whole area.. all the way down past the 1/2 way mark of the bumper..

you know those nuts inside the hatch that secure the top of the bumper? you need to loosen those, pull up on the each and retighten. that's how you adjust the gap.
if you're finding that you can't close the gap as much as you'd like, and nothing is obviously broken, you can probably widen those holes to give you more room to pull those bumper bolts further up.

Its very easy to fix, and I use zip ties.
Where the bumper meets that bar, where the holes are. Put washers in between the bumper and the metal bar, then use the zipties to hold them together.
Works very well, have had it done to mine for about 3 years now and no sagging

bumper meets the bar, washers, how would that raise the bumper? would only make it farther out correct?
