clutch release
I am having issues wit my clutch release making alot of rattleing, but if i put some force on it with my hands, it goes away, as if it was loose.. what can be the problem.. Is this a serious issue? Also, when i reverse it, I hear a grinding..I have a ls trans and have exedy flywheel and a competition stage 1 6puck clutch. I am reffering to # 3.. picture taken from acuraoemparts.com
ur slave cylinder should sit flush up against it. bleed ur hydo clutch system. if that doesnt work than most likely its the slave cylinder but those things are cheap and easy to replace so it not a big problem.

if that doesn't work you might need a new release bearing, they make noise the same way. with no pressure on them they either make dry bearing type noise or squeel type noise witch goes away when the clutch is depressed.
