I have heard that there is a difference in years between LS automatic trannys??? Is this true??? I heard that 93-95 Auto trannys are different then 96+ or something like that, but i need to know if they will work interchangibly.

My friend needs an auto tranny for a 2000 LS and i have a 94 RS tranny and i need to know if it will work for him or if he needs a newer one.

I need to know asap cuz he wants to get his car fixed to sell so thanks for any help.
