Default higher than 9:0:1...more like 10:0:1??

Ive been seeing alot of drag cars lately that are running higher comps. I know that it helps the turbo spool faster and is harder to tune the timing but whats everyones opinion??

Higher comp doesnt help spool-up as much as people say or want to think, what it does do it help off boost driving, which in turn feels like spool-up rate was increased. And it also closes the window on tuning and error, as higher comp will be much more prone to damage if something goes wrong with a tuning issue(running lean/heat issues)..

Its not a bad idea to go higher comp, as in therey a 10:0:1 you would be able to attain say 400HP on 15PSI were with a motor running on 8:5:1 you would have to run say 18-20PSI to reach the same HP levels... There is alot more involved in it, but thats the general idea..
