Either your throwout bearing is toast, or one or more of the springs on the clutch has popped and caused havoc.
Take your tranny off, I know it's a pain in the ***, but it's gotta be done anyway.
I had this happen to me... If you start your car with IN gear with the clutch to the floor, does your car jump forward? - backwards if you leave it in reverse

don't waste ur time and money. if the car goes in gear with the car off then its ur Slave Cylinder. right in front of the trans, takes 10 minutes to change its like 40 bucs from honda
I don't know if these integras are anything like my surpa, but this same thing happened to me in my supra and it was my clutch fork, and another time it was the shift fork... just another thing to consider...

If it was the slave or master cylinder, his clutch pedal would be sitting on the ground. Before it actually hit the ground, his clutch engagement point would have gotten lower and lower and it would have taken very little pressure to push the pedal down.
MRturbo, did you have any of the above symptoms?

Wrong. Car going into gear when off but not on is a clutch problem. Which doesn't just narrow to the slave cylinder, could be either master/slave/throw out bearing, etc.

this happened to my prelude. was fine when off, but wouldn't shift when on. Spring had popped out of the clutch, and the disc was toast. The spring ended up popping back in and I was able to baby it home. But it fell right out when I pulled the clutch out.
I'm not sure what the clutch/shift fork are, but I would also check those first. This happened to me on my crx (cable clutch though) and it was the pedal bracket. I'm not saying it's your bracket though...look into the clutch shift fork before you make the mistake I did -- I dropped the tranny and replaced the clutch and dealt with the problem again before I checked that pedal bracket.
I'm having the same problem. I came to a stop light and my clutch pedal dropped to the floor. My car shifts only when it is off. I replaced the salve/master cylinders and was able to get pressure back in the pedal but it still wont go into gear. Its at the shop now. I'll post the outcome later. I think its the throwout bearing, transmissions aren't my expertise though.
