I'm basically just curious if replacing my stock Intake Manifold with a Skunk2 IM is going to give me any noticeable gains at all...I would use the stock throttle body and as far as my mods go...CAI/Header/Hi-flow Cat/Pulleys/Cams/Catback Exhaust...also would an aftermarket larger bored throttle body be worth the buck?

 

You're not going to get any gains on a motor w/ just boltons by installing an aftermarket IM. Instead, invest in cams and some tuning.

 

thanks i figured as much...i do have cam gears and they are adjusted...as far as cam shafts go...do you know where i can get them for non-vtec...everywhere i look they are all for VTEC and/or GSR only

 

Crower 403s or 404s go for around 500 or so on ebay. These will dramatically improve your car's lower end, unlike a skunk2 IM which makes more power from 7000-10000 rpms.

Usually like 599 or so for the pair but good deals come up from time to time. Check the classifieds here and on Ebay.

the 403 and 404 cams are $350/pair from Crower right now.
