Yippee! My beater CRX is boosted...
I just wanted to say thanks to all of you guys!
This site is without a doubt one of the most helpful/resourceful sites around
Anyway, I just finished (well, no car is really finished) my daily beater CRX. It took longer than I thought (doesn't it always). The car started it's life as an 88 CRX DX DPFI 1.5l automatic. Now it a turbo MPFI 1.6l (mutt motor) 5 speed. Here's some info for those who care:
Y7 block w/A6 head and gasket (@8.76:1CR) all stock
DX tranny
Homemade turbo "kit" http://www.homemadeturbo.com/turbo1.html (Thanks ABAZ)
VAFC hack w/DSM 450's
universal BTM
Boosting 8.5psi
yada, yada, yada
The T-25 is actually too small for my taste. I get full boost by 3000rpms. On the highway it's annoying because every throttle touch instigates a boost response. Guess I'll get a 16g for the CRX's next built engine

Pics are on their way. I had to go "old school" with the 35mm, so I have to get them developed. No money for a digi-cam
Got to spend it all on car parts
