dc5 front brake assembly, whats wrong with these axles?

dc5 front brake assembly, whats wrong with these axles?

the guy is selling them to me for an additional $100 plus the front assembly, rotors are rusted, doesn't matter, i will just replace them anyways. but it looks like the axles are missing a piece, is that normal, or replacable for cheap?

please advise. thanks

it looks like its missing the inner joints?

They were probably taken by someone who was doing a K swap into their vehicle. Who cuts brake lines??

who knows, but i'm just going to buy the brake setup, not the axles.
