'91 Nissan 240SX - SR20 red top swap FOR SALE - $5500 Or Best Offer
I recently got married and I just want to get a normal daily driver. I'm looking for $5500 or a decent trade; for example a '95 Civic with less that 100k miles. I'll be in North VA from 30 June to 5 July for the holiday. Call me if you're in the area and want to see the car. I'm not looking to rip anyone off. I just want a normal car. Call me or e-mail me for pictures.

Here is all the info about the car.
Y/M/M – ’91 240SX (base model I’m assuming)
Color – Originally some sort of gray but was re painted a blue/purple (no clear coat)
Motor – SR20DET red top
Intake – Stock
Exhaust – Apex’I N1 (no cat, just a test pipe)
Engine Mods – Blitz FMIC, Blitz BOV, Turbo XS dual stage BC, stage 2 clutch
Suspension Mods – Tokico “Blues” struts, Eibach 2” lowering springs
Wheels/Tires – Off brand “Excel” 7 spoke 17” Wheels; 205/40/17 tires
Exterior – Authentic BOMEX body kit. The lip of the front bumper was broken and glued back together but broke off soon after. The paint could use some touch up. The panel below the taillights was removed but I picked up another one.
Interior – Knock off NISMO steering wheel. NISMO leather shift ****, no seat belts in the back seats, Blitz boost gauge, JVC head unit.
Misc Mods – Blitz Auto Timer, 180SX LSD

THE ONLY MODIFICATIONS DONE BY ME WERE THE FOLLOWING: Steering wheel, shift ****, replacing seats, installing front lap seat belts, installing front parking lights, installing new headlights, replaced wheels, put in an EVO fuel pump. That’s about all I can think of.
PROBLEMS: I bought the car from a guy in NY. He did the swap himself. There seems to be a boost problem. I can't give it full throttle at low rpm. If I do give too much throttle the car slightly backfires. It's not a loud gunshot sound, it's relatively quite in comparison but the car sort of sputters until the rpm raise. It's weird and I don't have the patience to figure it out. The CV joints need replacing. There's no camber kit so the alignment is off. I'm way too lazy to fix this crap.
The car was looked at by the guys formerly of The Speed Factor in Sterling, VA. The mechanic there said that most of the issue was caused by the MAF wiring. I have not had the time nor the money to go have the work done, nor do I have the intentions of getting it fixed. Right now my money is being put towards getting a house and I need to move away from the project cars and more toward a daily drvier.
Overall the Swap is already in there, just needs to be looked at, so a majority of the work is already done. The swap itself would normally cost anywhere from 4000-5000 if done at a performance shop (including the cost of the front clip) so you are getting the car and most of the mods for next to nothing. This car does not need much to be a powerful car.
That's about it really...
UPDATE
The price is firm, my post at explains why, but included to the buyer or trader will be a set of 19" Ikon rims with the right bolt pattern and offset for the car. There will be 4 rims and 3 tires (Had a blowout). Let me know.

I am not too sure... I had it looked at, but I never got around to having it fixed... they insisted that it was the MAF wiring, but they are 7 hours from where I live and i have not had the time to take it back to them. I know its a fuel issue, and if it is in connection with the maf then running too lean could definately be the issue, but there is a slight fuel smell so, I am thinking that when I give it full throttle at low RPM's it is running rich and bogging out until it reaches higher RPM's. I rarely even pull boost when I drive it as I am trying to be super careful. The car has never seen more then ~7PSI.
Another thing they said could cause some fuel issues is that the BOV is not recirculating into the intake, but I cannot see that causing too much of an issue. Right now it is a Blitz that is venting to the atmosphere.

EXTREMELY interested
my friend is willing to trade his daily driver 97 white 4 door civic lx. w/ 50,000 miles completely stock it drives strong. but he wants a little money on top to fix the engine problem. we're located in Maryland and will meet up w/ you in virginia if you're interested. if you can bring it up to VA as a testament to his drivability that would be a huge plus.
Thanks

Thanks for the interest, I have to consider it, I am really high and dry with money right now as I got married at the start of this month. It just made a trip to and from Northern VA and Deleware and all over the area at the start of the month, so its driveability is definately not much of an issue. I will see what I can do about money on top, but can I get pics of the Civic and an idea of how much extra he would be asking? Let me know. thanks

This car is for sale by my roomate Marcus, he is using my profile because he did not have the time to wait for hte trial period before he posted. I know everythign needed to know about the car since I was there when he bought it and helped with what has been done to it and diagnose the issues. I spoke with him today and he is looking for either straight sale of the car or a straight trade. He does not have any additional money to put into a car. We bought this from a man in NY from a place called Wicked Werkz and when he bought it, it had the same boosting issue. We paid 5500 for it when purchased, and since he has put a good amount of money into it so the price is firm. But we can throw in a set of 19" Ikon rims with the right bolt pattern and offset for this car, w/ 3 tires (had a blow out) to whoever buys or trades for the car. Thanks!
Thanks!!
SR20 is a great motor, and an abundance of parts, but with the wife and getting a house, I dont have the time nor the money.

It had 19's on it, but I had a blow out and rather then get a new tire, I just threw these old wheels on there... the 19's are included with the car along with 3 good tires so these crummy wheels don't have to stay on there.
