I know im probably gunna get flamed for this post but i wanted an opinion from the other teg guys. I bought this teg with 18's on it ( ). Im about to replace them and i cant decide to get 15 or 16 inch rims.. Im going for the rota slipstreams. The 18's rub a little and the car is lowered a bit. I know this topic has been beaten to death so i apoligize in advance .

anyways the 18's are so heavy the car has to catch up with itself when i shift. So what do you think guys..? 15's or 16's.

 

I would vote 15's, but 16's are cool too. I just got some 15" slipstreams on my Teg and I love them. I chose 15 over 16 due to weight, and expense of tires.

 

Does the weight of the wheels affect performance that much?

 

yes it effect acceleration. i'd go with 15"

 

is it a big difference... or is it jsut a tenth or two in the 1/4

 

probably just a tenth or two.

which matters a lot if you drag with it.

15x7 Don't get 18's

up to u, if you want 205's, get 15x6.5, if you want 215's, get 15x7. i have 15x6.5 slipstreams sitting on 205/50's and couldnt be happier

 

well the 18's are already on the car....

and..... 15's it is. My car is red and i think im gunna go with tha white slips.

just need to decide on the 6.5 or the 7.
