"Street Turbocharging" -- new book by Mark Warner
To be honest, i havent even had a chance to see what the book is about, but i figured some of you guys who may have enjoyed Corky Bell's Maximum Boost might be intereted.
HPBooks, the original publisher of "Turbochargers" retained Mark Warner, author, mechanical engineer, honored member of the Society of Automotive-Engineers (SAE) and holder of many patents, to update MacInnes' classic and the result of a lot of hard work is "Street Turbocharging: Design, Fabrication, Installation, and Tuning of High-Performance Turbocharger Systems".
I had the honor of having a small part in the new book as my ~800hp Cvic is featured in it
There are 10 project vehicles summarized in the book. SP Engineering's Supra, a first-generation Toyota MR2, Datsun510, Datsun510 Rotary, my 1994 Honda Civic DX, Ford MustangGT, Chevrolet Camarro, Dodge Dakota Diesel, a Suzuki Hayabussa (618 whp!!) and a RV6A airplane. In addition to us and SP, many other big turbo industry names, such as Gale Banks Engineering, Turbonetics, HKS, GReddy, Honeywell Turbo Technologies (Garrett), Turbosmart, The Power Group, Aquamist, Design Engineering, Inc., and others are effectively represented throughout the book's 202 pages.
The book should be coming available at major book stores as you read this for about $19, and is immediately available on amazon.com. Here is a link on amazon to it, but i believe they are sold out
http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ...13705 for about $13 or so. I am told it is in a lot of bookstores however.
thought id share, I hope someone enjoys the book!

Did he (Mark) also write another book recently? The name sounds familiar. Someone made a thread about a book they wrote (or was part of the process) dealing with tuning EFI and such. Anyone remember what I'm talking about?
