Car consumes wicked amounts of oil yet no drips or smoke while driving
Ring problem or head problem? I heard valve seals can cause you to go through oil and that H22 use oil anyways but a quart every 900~ miles? I guess its time for a rebuild at 146,000 miles.
1 qt every thousand isn't unheard of. Are you leaking from the cam seal too? (when you pop the hood, check left side of the valve cover, where it meets the cylinder head, especially closer to the upper left corner.) Every Prelude leaks there until you replace the cheap *** plastic seal with an aluminum/triple o-ring seal from Golden Eagle or STR.

that should help out a little bit over time. you may want to consider getting a new valve cover gasket too considering your mileage/age and make sure you have some Permatex gray or Hondabond on hand.
